"The
majority of state agencies are just so overwhelmed
with cases, that people simply fall through
the cracks. If even a small percentage of families
can be helped by an option other than their
state agency, it is worth every effort we can
give to it."

The National
Coalition for Child Support Options (NCCSO) is a
coalition of more than 5,000 parents, concerned citizens,
community and business leaders, attorneys and members
of the child support enforcement community who have joined
to fight the national epidemic of unpaid child support.
NCCSO works to protect the options available to parents to collect
the child support they deserve. NCCSO does this by reaching
out to the media, decision-makers and the general public to educate them about
threats to the existence of these options and choices.

In addition to educating custodial parents about available child support options, members
of NCCSO have testified before the United States Congress, written "Letters
to the Editor," met with members of various state legislatures and
participated at conferences of the National Child Support Enforcement Association
and other child support enforcement associations.

done.
These efforts aim to educate parents about their options, let parents know
they have a place to turn, and make sure that special
interest groups are not successful in limiting options for parents who
are fighting to collect their court-ordered child support. |
